ABOUT ME

Jill Barry/Owner

I received my yoga certification in 2015 and have been teaching steadily ever since. As an E-RYT 500, I completed over 1,200 additional hours of training in restorative, yin, yoga nidra, trauma informed yoga and more.

As a Mom of a child with special needs, I understand the importance of self care and the precious value of your free time. The goal of my teaching is to not only lead a class that is accessible to people just as they are, but to also honor the many additional layers of yoga that are necessary to create a well rounded practice.  I do my best to provide opportunities for people to move past the physical aspect of yoga to find a deeper level of understanding of this practice and how it relates to them on their mat, and more importantly, when they walk out the door.

The hardest part of yoga is showing up.

As a studio owner, my greatest wish is for all that walk through my door to feel welcome, supported, appreciated and that you belong....because you do. Whether you have been practicing yoga for years or brand new, there is a space for you here.

Welcome hOMe.

“Jill Barry is a true teacher/leader in her life, her trainings, and in her practice. She has worked hard to turn her grit into grace. She is a living example of a path with heart. She is a powerhouse of knowledge and is exceptionally well trained. I learn more from Jill in a few hours than some Master Teachers I’ve spent years studying. She is a true gem to have locally, and I would highly advise you soak her in like a sponge. On a cellular level- I love her dearly.”

Testimonials

"Being a great yoga teacher is more than making you sweat, or helping you stand on your head. To be a great yoga teacher, you need to be dedicated to the service of others. You need to see your students as a whole person worthy of love, support, and connection. Jill embodies all of that and so much more. Jill is incredibly gifted at bringing the teachings of yoga and meditation out of the studio and into the world. She will help guide you on your journey in the way that a teacher should- with love, respect, kindness, and compassion."

-Chris Byrne, Owner Metta Community Yoga, E-500 RYT, YACEP, Accessible Yoga Ambassador, FMS 1, Balanced Athlete Coach.

"Jill Barry’s yoga studio is a sanctuary. As a working mom of four in my late 40s, I had lost touch with myself—buried under to-do lists, stress, and a body that no longer felt like mine. Walking into Jill’s studio felt like coming home. Her presence is nurturing, kind, and incredibly grounding. Every class—whether Sacred Silence, Restorative, or Saturday flow—feels like a gift. Jill creates a space where it’s safe to slow down, breathe, and truly listen to your body. No pressure, no judgment—just compassion, warmth, and healing. I've laughed, cried, even snored in savasana, and every moment has brought me back to myself. Jill is a rare soul, and her studio is something truly special. Don’t wait—go feel it for yourself."

-A. Hurley

"From the moment you walk into Jill’s studio, you know it’s a special place. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and Jill has created a truly safe space where everyone feels welcome. Her classes are thoughtfully guided, and the supportive community she’s built encourages connection, and self-care. Whether you're new to yoga or deepening your practice, Jill’s studio is a beautiful place to belong and grow, both physically and mentally. "

-A. McCabe

"I’ve taken several of Jill’s classes over the years including yoga nidra, restorative yoga, and vinyasa. Her voice is so calming that I hear it in my mind long after class is over. She incorporates lessons into each class and I’ve learned so much about chakras, breath work, and meditation. "
